What do teens and young adults love so much about laptops with built in cameras? Though there are many potential ways to answer this question, the experience is greatly enhanced by the ability to see your picture as it is being taken. As a result, it’s not uncommon to see young people, both by themselves and in pairs, engaging in impromptu photo shoots from the computer’s camera. Essentially this eliminates any guess work by putting the subject of the photo instantly in the director’s chair. Unfortunately, when out on the town for the night or on vacation, purse and pocket-friendly portable cameras have never been able to manage such all-inclusive control. How could a camera manufacturer possibly eliminate user error in photo taking with only a couple of inches of surface area to work with? The bright minds at Samsung seem to have a solution, simply put an auxiliary digital screen on the front of the camera. This allows everyone in the photo to see the picture as they pose, offering comparable fun to a photo-booth (props not included). What is included, however, in both upgraded versions of the original Dualview models, are 14.2 megapixels, a 1.8-inch front LCD screen, coupled with fun colors and a sleek, savvy design. (more…)
